My parents bought me a Canon 50mm F1.8!
It's so nice, I love it! It is, however, something to get used to. I am having a blast experimenting!!
I love when a flash really adds something to a photo, opening up different colours and elements.

Normally I use the Av setting and get a few good pictures after trying to adjust this and that but with M setting you can adjust both the apature and shutter speed to just the right levels.
I took these with my normal 18-55 lens, flash on 1/200 f5.0 IS0400 in Elizabeth's dark room lit with her dim light.
